MISSION through a CALLING
These words still echo in the hearts and souls of men and women of our day. These same words brought us together in a spirit of service, prayer and community life. Holy Cross, like other congregations, has always sought to respond to needs and invitations expressed by the Church, needs that arose, and still arise, from circumstances that affect Society.
More specifically, the mission of the Generalate is to be of service to the Congregation, to its members “in the field”. It coordinates, visits, supervises, gives guidelines on approved congregational policy, oversees the application of General Chapter recommendations, and it governs through participating administrative units, provinces, vicariates and districts.
